    I have found my new favorite Mexican spot! If you like authentic and fresh this is the spot! Right next to the San Mateo train station. I had a freshly made burrito from a very friendly staff. Ambience leans take out but I had a wonderful lunch sitting outside. Highly recommend

    I was starving. Initially seeing the old mission style building I thought this may be my new place! Once I entered and saw the kitchen and that they use that cheese melter for nachos I was instantly saddened. As another reviewer stated.. I can NOT get pass the uncleanliness.

    The original Mission Cali Burrito, the size of a small baby. The most dank salsa bar of all the SF-Peninsula tacquerias I've ever been to - if a spot has complimentary PINEAPPLE SALSA with emphasis on chunks of pineapple, it automatically wins. But even then, there was also a total of 10 selections, incl 7-8 distinct salsa/sauces. I recommend 6-8 tubs for each burrito, depending on your sauciness. You know how we do. Everything is fresh. They accommodate 50/50 meat orders! HOWEVER: When you order "Garlic Prawn Burrito" make sure you annunciate "Garlic" and verify the order before payment, to make sure they don't mistakenly hear "Carne" instead. They got this wrong on our visit, and worse still, there were only 2 little shrimpies. If you list a "__ & __" you really need to have a good ratio. They were willing to recook, but it would've taken 15-20mins, and who got the time for that? Mistakes can be costly like that. Tacqueria tip: forgoing Super status can sometimes mean more meat, because 3D tortilla volume is still finite! Finally, Unfortunately, the Horchata is WEAK/diluted. I'd recommend Guatemalan or Mayan style instead.

    real big portions on the super tacos and at an even better price. the horchata is pretty fire too. would recommend, 10/10
